When Should My Child First Visit the Dentist?

We recommend your child's first dental visit by the age of 12 months, or when their first tooth appears. Dr Aish Kesava (Dr Aiswariya Kesava) is our on-site Specialist Paediatric Dentist at Epping. Dr Kesava holds a DCD in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Otago and has a special interest in children with dental anxiety. Her compassionate, family-centred approach has made her a favourite among Epping families. For children who need additional support, Dr Kesava can discuss sedation options to ensure treatment is completed comfortably.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule - Bulk Billing

Core Dental Epping bulk bills eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). Children aged 2 to 17 from families receiving eligible Australian Government payments may access up to $1,026 in dental benefits over a two-year period, covering examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, and extractions.
